About the Course

All courses are designed and led by Speech & Language Therapist Liz Syed, and are ideal from around 4 months, although we have no minimum or maximum age limit - everybody's welcome! Older brothers and sisters are also extremely welcome to come along at no extra cost.

What happens?

Each of the ten sessions lasts for an hour: 30-40 minutes of singing, signing, puppets, props, games, stories, toys, bubbles, parachutes and loads more, all designed to be entertaining for both you and your little one.  The sessions each have a different theme, for example Bath & Bed-time, Family & Feelings, Mealtime, Animals.

You'll learn lots of signs and you can use as many or as few of them as you like (weekly hand-outs provide a useful reminder at home). Then we have 20-30 minutes of delicious cake (very often it's homemade!), coffee and time to chat while we get out the toys for the babies. A nice relaxing bit (there's nothing worse than being rushed out of the door), an opportunity to make new friends, plus time for you to ask questions about signing or any aspect of speech & language development.

How much?

The cost of the course is £45 for the ten weeks, and you only pay once per family (twins, triplets, more!) This covers absolutely everything, including comprehensive information pack, weekly hand-outs and the rather delicious cakes we have at the end...

No deposit needed - don't pay anything until you've attended the first session, to see how you like it.

(You can also pay as you go along, at a cost of £5.50 per session.)
